Geological data review, exploration targeting and project generation.
Turn historical and current exploration data into clear priorities. MineFinder combines geological judgement with AI-assisted analysis to assess targets, identify evidence gaps and recommend the next exploration work.
Fragmented records, conflicting interpretations and competing targets can make it difficult to decide where to commit exploration funds. Start with the decision your team needs to make.
01
Exploration data review and targeting
Know where to focus your next programme.
Review your historical reports, drilling, geochemistry, geological maps and geophysics. Compare interpretations and prioritise targets for greenfield, brownfield or near-mine exploration.
What we can deliver
Data-quality issues and original source references
Target priorities with rationale, uncertainty and contrary evidence
Alternative interpretations and recommended next tests
Paid technical work on your data, with scope and deliverables agreed before work begins.
Commission a search against your commodity, region, deposit model, project stage and scale criteria. We assess the geological case and the practical route to further evaluation.
What we can deliver
A prioritised opportunity shortlist
Geological rationale, evidence gaps and key risks
Initial rights and access considerations and next steps
Agree the mandate, exclusivity and ownership of newly identified opportunities before the search starts.
Assess projects in which MineFinder holds an interest. Review the geological case, available evidence, access constraints and work needed to test the opportunity.
What we can deliver
Project information for technical assessment
A proposed staged exploration programme
Discussion of joint venture, earn-in or acquisition options
Explore a transaction around a MineFinder project, with rights and commercial terms assessed for each opportunity.
AI assists with organising records and analysing patterns. Geological review determines how those outputs inform the next decision.
Review the source data, assumptions, competing interpretations and limitations. The result should explain why a target warrants further work—or why it should be deferred.
Historical-data review: Warwick Anderson identified the opportunity, secured it with his own capital and developed a revised geological case from historical data.
Taking the project to market: Dan Lanskey raised more than A$11 million, developed the corporate strategy and led QMines’ ASX listing in 2021.
This work predates MineFinder. It demonstrates the principals’ experience in assessment and project advancement; it does not measure the predictive performance of AI.
One project or bounded dataset. One agreed geological question. A clear decision at the end.
What you receive
Depending on the agreed scope: a data inventory and quality register, source-linked evidence review, target priorities, unresolved questions, next-work recommendations and files in agreed formats.
How we begin
Confirm the available data, deposit type, technical reviewer, deliverables, acceptance criteria, schedule and fees. A technical handover connects the findings to your next programme.
Agree the commodity, geography, deposit model, scale criteria, deliverables and decision points.
02
Review the evidence
Assess data quality, compare geological interpretations and record supporting and contradictory evidence.
03
Prioritise the next test
Prioritise opportunities and define the work needed to advance, defer or reject each case.
Start with a non-confidential summary. Before sharing data, agree confidentiality, permitted processing, intellectual property and any overlap with MineFinder’s own project interests.
Data, ownership and technical review
Scoping covers data rights, approved transfer and storage, AI providers and permitted use, retention and deletion, and ownership of generated data and opportunities. Any relevant MineFinder interests must be disclosed. Confirm the named technical lead and reviewer for the assignment, their relevant experience, and the review and correction process.
