OUR TEAM / EXPERIENCE THAT MATTERS
Geological judgement and the experience to take projects to market.
MineFinder brings together project generation, exploration technology and corporate execution. Warwick Anderson identifies and develops the project case. Dan Lanskey brings experience in financing, company building and public-market transactions.
Speak with Warwick and DanASSESS THE PEOPLE. EXAMINE THE WORK.
A project generator needs to recognise an opportunity, establish a credible exploration case and attract the people and capital to advance it. Our principals have worked across that sequence. The examples below identify their roles, the work completed and its relevance to MineFinder.
01 / MANAGING DIRECTOR
Project generation.
Exploration insight.
Technology development.
Warwick is a mineral exploration entrepreneur whose work connects project identification, geological data and commercial opportunity.
He founded Gold Exploration Australia and later led a mining technology company. His experience includes exploration management, project acquisition and brokerage, company formation, and the development of software for geological analysis. His project-generation work includes Mt Chalmers and projects subsequently advanced by QMines, SQX Resources and Great Divide Mining.
At Mt Chalmers, Warwick identified the opportunity, used his own capital to secure the project, assembled the historical exploration records and developed a revised geological case. This combined the technical work of interpreting an old dataset with the commercial work of securing an asset and preparing it for further investment.
His earlier company-building experience includes founding Dynasty Gold, which was subsequently acquired by Traprock Mining. These experiences inform MineFinder’s approach to securing projects, testing their potential and preparing them for partnerships or a new exploration company.
Warwick led a mining technology company that brought together expertise in geology, geophysics, data science and software development. He led the team that received the 2019 OZ Minerals Explorer Challenge Genius Prize. His exploration-technology consulting experience includes work for BHP, Rio Tinto, Kinross Gold and St Barbara.
At MineFinder, this experience supports MAGMA, our proprietary AI-enabled exploration platform. It brings historical data, geological modelling and target generation into a connected workflow, supported by Data Studio analysis tools and Scout’s conversational access to project information.
Warwick’s background includes field exploration, research and GIS work, exploration management and project leadership. He also served in the Australian Army in infantry and intelligence duties, with deployments to Afghanistan and Timor-Leste.

02 / DIRECTOR
Capital raising.
Company formation.
Transaction execution.
Dan is a company builder and capital-markets executive with more than 20 years of senior management and board experience.
His career includes resources, oil and gas, technology and other growth businesses. He has worked with companies listed in Australia and Canada, and with investors across Asia Pacific and North America. His transaction experience includes private placements, pre-IPO funding, initial public offerings and reverse takeovers.
As Managing Director of QMines, Dan led the company’s corporate and listing programme, working with its board and advisers. QMines commenced ASX trading on 6 May 2021 after an IPO that raised A$11.55 million. Mt Chalmers was its flagship copper–gold project.
Dan led the Needle Capital Corp side of the transaction that took The Flowr Corporation public. Needle was a Canadian Capital Pool Company (CPC). Its qualifying transaction with Flowr completed on 21 September 2018, creating the public-market vehicle for Flowr’s business.
The transaction filings identify Dan as Needle’s Director, President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer through completion. This provides direct experience of using a listed corporate vehicle to bring a private business to the Canadian market.
Dan was a founder and Managing Director of Austex Oil. During his tenure, the business grew from start-up to approximately US$30 million in annual revenue. His historical board appointments also include Macarthur Minerals, Pryme Energy and Raya Group.
He holds a Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Venture Development from Griffith University.
