MAGMA is MineFinder’s proprietary AI-enabled exploration platform. It integrates historical data, geological analysis and project management so a lean team can evaluate more opportunities and direct capital into the geological tests that matter.
Our project generator model depends on assessing projects, defining the next test and preparing opportunities for partners or new exploration companies. MAGMA helps us repeat that process across a growing portfolio.
Historical exploration records contain substantial technical work. Drill logs, assays, reports, maps and geophysical surveys are often spread across different formats and sources. Bringing them together is the first step towards understanding what previous work tested and what remains open.
MAGMA ingests and integrates those records to support 3D geological modelling and exploration target generation. It helps us compare interpretations, identify gaps and define targets that geologists can assess and test in the field.
At Mt Chalmers, a retrospective benchmark used 382 historical drillholes covering 23,121 m. MAGMA ingested the data and generated 3D geological models and exploration targets within 48 hours. The original manual programme took 18 months.
This was a retrospective rerun of the historical dataset. It demonstrates the potential to shorten project evaluation and assess several acquisitions in parallel. Geologists review the models and targets, and drilling tests the resulting interpretations.
The investment benefit is greater technical capacity per dollar. Completing more work in-house reduces reliance on external consultants and separate specialist software. It also gives us more control over how quickly we can evaluate a project and prepare the next exploration programme.
Data Studio provides the analysis and visualisation tools used in this workflow, including mapping, geochemistry, geophysics and 3D interpretation. Scout provides conversational access to project information, helping the team retrieve records and ask follow-up questions.
These tools serve different roles within MineFinder’s exploration workflow. MAGMA supports integrated geological evaluation and target generation; Data Studio supports technical analysis; Scout helps people work with the information.
Before the proposed Canadian TSXV CPC listing, MAGMA will help refine Colossus targets and the drilling plan. At Vulcan, the immediate priority is to review preserved core and assay representative intervals for gold. The results will guide the next stage of targeting and possible partnerships.
Major drilling is planned after the proposed listing and associated financing. This sequence connects the current technical work with the tests that can advance the projects.
As the portfolio grows, MAGMA will support screening of additional acquisitions and preparation of projects for partnerships or spin-outs. MineFinder aims to retain equity or royalties in those transactions and recycle proceeds into the next opportunity.
We measure the value of the platform through evaluation time, cost, the quality of the geological questions and the work that follows. The objective is to manage more projects effectively and give shareholders repeated exposure to discovery.
